Juventus & Fiorentina Keen on Zaccagni but Lazio Future Safe for Now

A long list of clubs are interested in Mattia Zaccagni but the winger isn’t set to leave Lazio in the winter transfer window.

The 28-year-old Italian forward has been one of the most important players in Maurizio Sarri’s squad in the Italian capital since his initial arrival from Hellas Verona back in August 2021, scoring 18 goals and providing 18 assists across 102 matches.

Zaccagni has just 18 months left on his contract with Lazio and a number of clubs are now interested in picking him up in the coming months, with regular links to teams like Juventus and Fiorentina.

As reported by Alfredo Pedulla, Lazio will not sell Zaccagni in the January transfer window despite the various links with a move, but things could change in the summer should a new contract not be agreed.

The 28-year-old is keen to pen a new deal in the Italian capital but president Claudio Lotito is known to be slow with contract talks, which is why Felipe Anderson is tempted by a move to Juventus in the summer.
