Transfer Talk: Inter Milan to Swoop for Lazio Defender Adam Marusic?

Inter Milan are already plotting to take one defender form Lazio’s ranks this summer – with Stefan De Vrij reportedly close to agreeing a contract. Now, the latest reports from Italy are suggesting that they plan to swoop for Montenegro defender Adam Marusic.

Adam Marusic was signed by Lazio in July 2017 for a fee of around €6.5 million and has been somewhat of a vital player for the biancoceleste this season. He has featured in 26 Serie A games, with 5 in the Europa League. He has found the net 3 times and assisted 4, often distributed as a right-wing back, or right-midfielder.

He has impressed this season although he does have a tendency to try and beat the man too often, instead of playing a pass. Nevertheless, he is an important part of Lazio’s side, especially given that Dusan Basta could be leaving in the summer also.

Lazio aren’t likely to be willing to part with the defender for cheap and Lotito and Tare will look to get every euro possible if they choose to sell Marusic.
