What bad luck for center-midfielder Marco Parolo.
After a reckless challenge on the inside of his leg twice in the match against rivals Roma back on April 15th, the biancoceleste midfielder had stopped on Wednesday, during the warm-up before the match against Fiorentina. Accusing some annoyance to his leg, he had settled on the bench leaving his spot to Alessandro Murgia – a way to avoid worsening problems and not complicate the situation.
However, the desire to take the field was tremendous, and the player in a week was back immediately to train with his team-mates getting ready for yesterday’s challenge with Sampdoria. He was put into the starting 11, but had to stop at the 19th minute of the first half after a contrast with an opponent in which the player felt a pull.
A muscular problem, probably a stretch, reports the Radiosei press review.
The player now risks a break of 10-20 days, but only the exams that will be carried out in the next hours will clarify the extent of the injury.
