Lazio are taking a look around Europe at many potential players to buy over the summer Transfer Window. With rumours stirring around center-midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic heading towards Juventus, PSG, and Manchester United, and Dutch center-half Stefan De Vrij leaving for sure on a free transfer this window, Lazio are trying to prepare for the events to come. Sporting Director Igli Tare has been on the hunt in recent weeks, and he has now thrown an eye towards Turkey in the city of Trabzon, targeting a player from club Trabzonspor to be exact.
According to Calciomercato.it, it is because of goalkeeper Arda Akbulut – the young and classy goalkeeper born in 2001. He has been making people talk about him this year after many spectacular performances, 7 of which have come from the Under 17 Turkey National team. He stands at a height of 1.95 meters, and the cost to buy would only be the training fee. A boy of great hopes and dreams, there is a possibility that he could debut in the first team of Trabzonspor already next Saturday, and there is no doubt that Lazio will be keeping an eye on him.
This would not be the first time Lazio has done business with the Turkish side: on the 12th of July in 2015, Belgian right-back Luis Pedro Cavanda signed for Trabzonspor, and a year later on the 2nd of August 2016, Nigerian midfielder Ogenyi Eddy Onazi signed for them as well.
The young man is also has also interest from Serie A side Udinese, and Dutch teams FC Twente and NAC Breda.
