Back in April, we had linked a 23-year-old centrocampista to Lazio:
Igli Tare seemed to have talked with Bryan Cristante’s representatives stating that he ‘met with the players agents to work out a deal’. Lazio had been working in the shadows for some time to beat Roma and Juventus to his signature, and now it looks to have finally happened.
SUMMER TRANSFER MARKET
Lazio face Inter this Sunday in an important game about a Champions League spot. A win for Biancoceleste would also mean an interesting summer for them that will involve many potential signings. However, maybe Lazio has already acted on the market?
According to LaLazioSiamoNoi, Lazio has already struck a deal with Atalanta for midfielder Bryan Cristante for about 25-30 million euros. The young midfielder that could play as an attacking midfielder, or center midfielder, has scored 12 goals this season. This would mean the biggest signing under the Lotito era and among the top in Lazio history if the deal is to go through.
PAPU GOMEZ and SARDAR AZMOUN
There has also been talk that Lazio and Atalanta are discussing Papu Gomez once again, but this would only become a potential reality if Lazio reach the Champions League. For that role Lazio also are monitoring the situation of the Iranian forward Sardar Azmoun.
SANDRO
Lazio is also been said to have made an enquiry to Antalyaspor about midfielder Sandro that has been on loan at Benevento this season. Perhaps that would mean a valid option for Lazio to support his fellow countryman Lucas Leiva for the upcoming season?
Would Bryan Cristante be worth the money? Is Sandro a valid option to Lucas Leiva? Whoever Lazio end up signing, we have to trust that Igli Tare and Claudio Lotito continue on their great track record and provide the club with passionate individuals.
