Lazio captain Senad Lulic is, according to Corriere dello Sport, thought to be taking a permanent step towards a future role as a central midfielder next season. Inzaghi reportedly wants 6 players to cover the three central positions. In Lulic’s old place as a wing back, Lazio are, as reported by RadioSei, said to be monitoring the situation of Bologna’s Adam Masina. The Italian wing back, with Moroccan ancestry, has had previous interest from Sevilla and West Ham. Masina’s contract with Bologna expires next summer and he has no intention on renewing it. Due to this, a transfer could be a bargain.

According to Radiosei, Dusan Basta will not be offered a renewal on his contract which currently expires in 2019, and Lazio will consider offers for the Serbian this summer. They also believe that if he remains at Lazio, Inzaghi will convert him into a centre-back. This role wouldn’t have the same physical demands on the ageing Basta. Dusan Basta has earlier expressed that he misses his old club Red Star Belgrade. Maybe the veteran will not only close his circle as a wing-back, but also as a Lazio player this summer?
