Report: Manchester United offer €110 million for Milinkovic-Savic

Reports from RadioSei this morning have revealed that Lazio have received a €110 million + bonuses bid from Manchester United for Sergej Milinkovic-Savic. The Serbian has been one of the hottest topics to emerge about this upcoming transfer window, with Real Madrid, Manchester United and PSG all interested in securing his services.

Lazio’s valuation of the player is at €150 million and it is thought that any club who wishes to buy Milinkovic-Savic will need to pay this sum. Claudio Lotito is attempting to use all his skills as a businessman to squeeze every last cent out of whichever clubs fight for Sergej.

Milinkovic-Savic played 48 times in all competitions for Lazio this season, scoring 14 times and assisting another six. He picked up eight MOTM awards and has truly become one of the talking points in world football. All eyes are on the Serbian’s performance at the World Cup and whether or not he leaves Lazio this summer, or in the future.

Throughout the ordeal, Sergej’s agent, Mateja Kezman has retained a high amount of professionalism, despite being close friends with Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho. Kezman has insisted and repeated the fact that Sergej is in no rush to leave Lazio and his current contract remains his obligation.

Furthermore, former player Marco Materazzi announced in the press that supposedly, Manchester United are nearing an agreement with Lazio but Mourinho wants to offload Paul Pogba first.

With a bid on the table, how long will it be until Lotito caves? Would you mind the departure of Milinkovic-Savic if it meant €150 million to strengthen the team.
