Lazio’s transfer window is becoming more and more alive, with Claudio Lotito and Igli Tare working to deliver the required reinforcements to Simone Inzaghi. Among the names, there is that of Diego Laxalt, a winger owned by Genoa.

To talk about the future of the Uruguayan footballer, the sporting director of the rossoblu Giorgio Perinetti spoke to the microphones of Vocegiallorossa: “Diego Laxalt? Roma had him in mind in January, but for now there is nothing. Now Lazio has asked about him”

A transfer derby could therefore arise for him, even though at the moment the Biancocelesti would seem to have moved ahead of the Giallorossi for the pecking order.

Known for his good crossing and dribbling abilities, Diego Laxalt would probably be an ideal replacement for Senad Lulic that seems destined to take the step to play more as a central midfielder next season. Laxalt also knows Italian football well, after his arrival from Defensor Sporting to Inter in 2013.

This season the 25-year-old has made 36 appearances for the club, 32 in the Serie A TIM, and 2 in the Coppa Italia. His point contribution consists of 4 goals and 3 assists in this playing period.
