The first move of the biancoceleste market could be conducted at ‘home’. Simone Inzaghi needs reinforcements in all departments. In attack something could happen.

As reported by Corriere dello Sport, Claudio Lotito is thinking of repeating what he did with Luiz Felipe, this time with Mattia Sprocati. The Salernitana striker has come off an excellent season with 10 goals and 7 assists to his name, and a four-year contract is ready to be offered to him. Simone Inzaghi will evaluate the striker at the retreat in Auronzo, and Sprocati is looking to take advantage of the opportunity.

Mattia Sprocati was born in Monza in 1993 and started off his career with Pavia in 2011. He has since jumped from team to team, playing for Parma, Reggiana, Perugia, Crotone, Pro Vercelli, and finally Salernitana. The 1.78m-tall Italian can play right-wing or striker and has a market value of €1 million according to transfermarkt.co.uk.

Lazio president Claudio Lotito is also part owner of Salernitana, and has brought over many former Lazio Primavera players to the club from Salerno such as Marius Adamonis, Joseph Minala, and Simone Palombi. Last season he experimented by bringing former Primavera centre-back Luiz Felipe over from Salernitana and the move seemed to be successful as the Brazilian ended up starting in crucial matches for Lazio. With Felipe Caicedo looking to be on his way out, Sprocati could be an inexpensive, but effective replacement.

Can the nomadic forward find a permanent home with Lazio?
