Last week, we reported that Salernitana’s Mattia Sprocati would be joining the biancoceleste for their Auronzo training camp
As reported by Corriere dello Sport, Claudio Lotito is thinking of repeating what he did with Luiz Felipe, this time with Mattia Sprocati. The Salernitana striker has come off an excellent season with 10 goals and 7 assists to his name, and a four-year contract is ready to be offered to him. Simone Inzaghi will evaluate the striker at the retreat in Auronzo, and Sprocati is looking to take advantage of the opportunity.
Lazio president Claudio Lotito is also part owner of Salernitana, and has brought over many former Lazio Primavera players to the club from Salerno such as Marius Adamonis, Joseph Minala, and Simone Palombi. Last season he experimented by bringing former Primavera centre-back Luiz Felipe over from Salernitana and the move seemed to be successful as the Brazilian ended up starting in crucial matches for Lazio. With Felipe Caicedo looking to be on his way out, Sprocati could be an inexpensive, but effective replacement.

After securing Sprocati, Lazio looks once to the Serie B again for a midfielder. His name? Bosnian Rade Krunić.
A starter for Empoli, he managed 36 appearances for the club this past season, adding 5 goals to his name. Playing in Italy since 2015, the midfielder has lots of experience in the league, as he has over 80 caps for the Tuscan club.
The situation stands at this: the former player mentioned in Sprocati interests the Empoli while Lazio has an interest in Krunic. Empoli President Corsi has shown his preference for Sprocati, slightly ahead of another biancoceleste player such as Danilo Cataldi; therefore, a swap deal could be performed to bring the the Bosnian to Rome.
The Lazio transfer market seems to be catching fire, and soon we will see hopefully see many transfers occur.
