Report: Club Brugge in talks with replacement for Lazio target Wesley Moraes

Wesley Moraes is the 21-year-old Brazilian striker currently playing for Club Brugge in the Belgian Pro League. Lazio have been linked with a move for Moraes in recent weeks. It is said that Igli Tare is a big fan of the player and wants to bring him to Rome.

Not only this, but the player (and his agent) have expressed a willingness for the transfer to happen; Moraes is said to want to come to Rome. Now, the latest reports from LaLaziosiamonoi suggest that Club Brugge are on the verge of signing a striker to replace the potentially Lazio-bound Moraes.

Djordje Jovanovic, 19, currently plays for Partizan Belgrade and negotiations between Brugge and Partizan are reportedly underway. This, in turn, opens the door for Wesley Moraes to leave Belgium – and with Lazio his number one destination, we could see the transfer completed in the coming weeks.

Moraes signed for Club Brugge from AS Trencin in 2016 for around €1.3m; Brugge will be looking at a substantial profit on their investment.
