The negotiations between West Ham United and SS Lazio for the transfer of Felipe Anderson are dragging on.
The latest reports suggest that Lazio are after €35 million and €5 million in bonuses, whilst West Ham have only currently offered the €35 million. The player is said to have agreed terms, with a 4-year contract at €3.5-4m per season in wages.
Lazio president Claudio Lotito is eager to get the deal done so that he can finance a move for Felipe Anderson’s replacement; with Gelson Martins, Matteo Politano and Papu Gomez all linked in recent days.
Of the €35-€40 million that Lazio could receive upon the sale of Felipe Anderson to West Ham United, 25% will be owed to Santos FC, Anderson’s former club. This would likely explain why Lotito is fighting to get as much as possible for the player, with around €10m having to be sent straight to Brazil.
