Report: Lazio after Leicester City’s Demarai Gray

Another day is here and we have no updates as to if Felipe Anderson is any closer to completing his move to West Ham. With this uncertainty, it makes it difficult to speculate about incomings or other outgoings. However, according to reports from Corriere dello Sport, Lazio have an English player in mind to replace Anderson: Leicester City’s Demarai Gray.

Gray, 21, is an exciting young player and is often considered to be one of the wonderkids of English football right now. Having signed for the Foxes from Birmingham City in 2016 for a fee of around €5m, Gray is currently disappointed at a lack of game time.

Despite featuring 44 times for Leicester in all competitions, Gray only started 17 league games and failed to make all that much of an impact. He scored four times, assisted once and demonstrated his offensive abilities by picking up 1.1 successful dribbles, 0.8 key passes and 1 shot per game on average.

Would you like to see Demarai Gray at Lazio as Felipe Anderson’s replacement? Let us know.
