Marko Grujić: Lazio and Milan Eyeing Liverpool Midfielder

Igli Tare is moving to strengthen all departments in this Lazio side for next season, to make another push for the Champions League. Right now, everything currently involves and revolves around the sales of Felipe Anderson and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, but in the meantime, one of the names that the Albanian sporting director has set his sights on is Marko Grujić. Sergej’s Serbian compatriot, the 1996 born midfielder played last season on loan at Cardiff City but is owned by Liverpool.

Lazio as well as Milan, another interested company, do not want a temporary sale and want to push for a definitive solution, but according to Goal, The Reds would like to lend the midfielder back on loan, with Cardiff the main option again: he made 13 appearances and scored a goal for them in the last campaign. The cost of signing Grujić is likely to be around £10million, with Liverpool doubling their initial £5.1million investment when the player arrived from Red Star Belgrade. In addition, his current contract expires in 2020 according to reports from Sportitalia.

Grujic is currently engaged in the World Cup, but after Russia, important changes are expected to be coming his way.
