In the long list of names that circulate around the transfer market of Lazio, a player seems now to be definitely removed. We are talking about Manuel Lazzari, born in 1993.
The young right wing-back was among the revelations of the last Serie A season, even managing to score two goals in the 38 games he played with SPAL. Lazio, according to earlier reports, probed around to bring the defender to Rome as an alternative to Adam Marusic.
However, as reported by calciomercato.it, Lazzari is close to renewing his contract with SPAL which would see him stay at the club until 2023. This new contract would include a wage increase.
The signature on the new contract is said to be scheduled within the next week, but it has now been cemented: Lazzari will surely remain in Ferrara.
