According to reports from CalcioNapoli24, Napoli are extremely interested in the services of Thomas Strakosha. Strakosha, 23, is a close friend of Napoli’s Albian full-back Elseid Hysaj and the interest appears to be more than just speculation.
Reports suggest that Napoli have had two bids for Thomas Strakosha rejected by Lazio and Claudio Lotito. The first was €10 million and the inclusion of 26-year-old centre-back Nikola Maksimović, whilst the second was €18 million and 28-year-old Italian CB Lorenzo Tonelli.
Napoli, clearly targeting the void left by Stefan de Vrij as leverage in their pursuit of Strakosha, have had both bids rejected and, with the imminent arrival of Carlo Ancelotti, there is a chance that the Naples side could switch their focus to Alex Meret.
