The latest reports from a former West Ham employee for The West Ham Way, suggest that the agents of Lazio’s rogue midfielder Ravel Morrison are working to attempt to get the Englishman involved in the ongoing deal to bring Felipe Anderson (and possibly Jordan Lukaku), to the London Stadium.

Although signing for free on a 4-year deal after his contract expired with Premier League side West Ham in 2014, Morrison failed to impress when joining the biancocelesti, and has continued to do so, making him one of the ‘inferior’ transfers that Lazio has completed. At an age of 21, trying to redeem himself after poor performance at Premier League and Championship sides, he managed only 4 appearances over a span of 2 seasons for the biancocelesti and was sent on loan twice to his former club Queens Park Rangers, and most recently to Mexican side Atlas where he scored 3 goals in 20 appearances. The reason for his lack of success? His poor effort, attitude, and inability to speak other languages.

A once renowned young superstar, Morrison needs to decide if he is willing to try and turn his career back around for the better. His contract at Lazio will expire in 2019, and many believe England is his first option, as it is considered ‘home’.

We wait see if newly hired Pellegrini at West Ham will accept the player, and give Morrison another chance.
