Speaking at Fiumicino airport, after returning from holiday with his wife and children, Ciro Immobile was shouted at by a man who asked him to stay at Lazio because he’s “a king here”. In response, Immobile said: “Of course I stay at Lazio, I’m fine here!” – and with the news of a contract extension that could keep him at the club until 2021 at the earliest, it appears as though any interest in Immobile is long-gone now.

Milan contacted Immobile’s agent a couple of weeks ago about a possible move, yet a switch was never really on the cards for the prolific Italian goalscorer.

7:15 – Valon Berisha agrees terms with Lazio

Lazio have reached an agreement with Austrian side RB Salzburg for midfielder Valon Berisha. The fee is reported to be 8 million, and the biancocelesti are now sorting the final details with the player to make the deal official according to Gianluca Di Marzio.

According to the latest rumours, Yerry Mina -the 23-year-old Barcelona defender – could leave the Spanish side on loan. A possible destination could be Italy – the teams interested are said to be LazioInter, and Sampdoria.
