Lazio restarts again with the same ambitions from last year – the ambition to improve this biancocelesti side, the ambition to move further into the Europa League, and the ambition to make that push once again to secure a Champions League spot.

When we take a look at the current market situation, In Igli Tare We Trust  has become the expression to stand by. With the help of the Albanian sporting director, Lotito’s Lazio have been able to acquire Durmisi and Luan Capanni officially, while also on the verge of completing the transfers of Sprocati, Proto, Gelson Martins, Wesley Moraes, AcerbiBerisha: they have set up several market negotiations to try to improve the results achieved in the 2017-2018 season.

On the front pages of the biancoceleste official magazine this morning, “Lazio Style Magazine”, the president of Lazio has outlined the goals for next season:

“Lazio are aiming for the Champions League. We look to the future knowing that we will be able to play at the highest Italian and European levels. There has been an appreciation from players for what we have been able to accomplish over the past few years.”

“Of course, there is disappointment for the missed qualification to next years Champions League, but the last Serie A TIM championship has marked the entry of our company into the group of those clubs that become respected and well-known around the world. We can aspire to be an important and significant club in the future, in terms of the European and international scenes – we have challenged teams who are said to have gigantic investments but we pushed hard, challenged and best some of these clubs, and we have a Supercoppa to show for it.”

“On the thrust of results and enthusiasm, it was possible to rebuild that unity of spirit and will between our supporters and the team that has been missing for so long, bringing that record number of spectators to the Stadio Olimpico on the final match day.”
