Lazio have their second official signing of the summer, with Mattia Sprocati finalising his switch to the Stadio Olimpico. The former Salernitana striker will join up with the Lazio squad before their pre-season camp kicks off and biancoceleste fans will be excited to see how their new man gets on.
There is a likelihood that Sprocati could be loaned out or used in a part-exchange – yet, signing him to a five-year-contract suggests that he is an acquisition for the future.
Sprocati had a good season for Salernitana and attracted the interest of other Serie A clubs such as Fiorentina and Sassuolo. Thanks to Lazio’s good relationship with Salernitana through Claudio Lotito, however, he has moved to the capital.
