Report: Leeds United interested in Felipe Caicedo

It is no surprise that Lazio has been looking for reinforcements in all departments for next season. With Felipe Anderson set to be on the move, and Nani returning to Valencia, the only striker left with experience to back-up Ciro Immobile is Colombian Felipe Caicedo – however, it has been reiterated on multiple occasions, that the biancoceleste want to improve that department, and that Caicedo is not part of future plans moving forward.

Caicedo failed to impress and convince Simone Inzaghi – though he stated he loved what he was doing in the final games of the season, many fans were utterly disappointed with the way he played. The Ecuadorian striker could now be packing his bags to find his fortune elsewhere. So far, t
he potential interested suitors for him have been Spanish sides Villarreal and Real Betis, with the addition of Russian side Lokomotiv Moscow. However, there seems to be another interested party – Leeds United – a club that plays in the second division in England. The club, currently coached by Marcelo Bielsa has expressed his interest to sign the striker, who has previously been in England with Manchester City.
