A name linked with a move to Lazio since the start of the summer, Atalanta’s Swiss midfielder Remo Freuler is still well and truly on the cards for Lazio. After the signing of Valon Berisha, to be the future of Marco Parolo’s position, Lazio eyes are still looking another midfield signing too.
Freuler is currently in Russia with his national Switzerland, as they prepare to take on Sweden in the Round of 16 tomorrow afternoon. Corriere dello Sport are reporting that Lazio are waiting to see if Freuler agrees a contract with Atalanta after the World Cup, before making a move for the Swiss international.
Freuler, with a contract expiring in 2020, would likely be available for a fee in the region of €20 million, yet Lazio may be able to attain a discount through the use of a player in exchange.
