West Ham face competition from Monaco and Valencia for Felipe Anderson
It seemed a step away from West Ham, but now the deal is one step away from jumping. As Il Messaggero writes, unless there’s a higher bid, the Hammers are destined to abandon the path that leads to Felipe Anderson, with Lazio ready to listen to the offers from Valencia and Monaco.
The East London club has been pursuing the Brazilian winger all summer but seem to be coming up short on Lazio’s asking price of €40 million. Now it seems like West Ham could miss out as they aren’t the only ones interested in the Lazio man.
Felipe Anderson is approaching his 6th season with Lazio since joining from Santos in June of 2013. He has 34 goals and 42 assists in 177 appearances over this time.
Is a move to the Hammers still on the cards or will he join Keita at Monaco?
