The fact that Francesco Acerbi did not present himself to Sassuolo medicals yesterday has not gone unnoticed, as it is being reported he is trying to force Sassuolo’s hand into a transfer to Lazio.
A deal between the clubs has still not been finalised, with apparently 2 million euros still seperating the two squads. A face to face meeting is taking place today to try and facilitate the move between his agents and the Sassuolo brass.
Stefano Castagna, the one who once brought Felipe Anderson to Lazio, is part of the meetings at Sassuolo headquarters to try and close the deal. The next few hours should be very telling in the Acerbi to Lazio saga.
