Lazio Sponsor Denied, Jersey Announcements With Macron Made Official

The Dignity Decree launched by the new government has caused significant damage to Claudio Lotito and Lazio. As reported by Radiosei, the President of the biancocelesti had closed a contract with a betting company as a sponsor on the jerseys for next season. It was an agreement of €7 million plus bonuses – per season – over three years (€21 million deal), but it was canceled and shut down by the provision of the Council of Ministers.

The former contract with Seleco – Lazio’s sponsor last season – expired on June 30th of 2018,  and Lazio were willing to part ways, but with the denial of the new betting company, it is now back in the running for a renewal. Lotito will also deal with other companies to try to secure a higher pay, but the regret for how much “could have been” remains.

In addition, the date for the presentation of the first kit has already been set, which as usual will be the biancocelesti colours: it will be release on the 12th of July. The away kit – to be unveiled at Auronzo – will have a reference to the past, while the third kit will be black. The biancocelesti – with the new kit designs – hopes to repeat the sales that were generated last year.
