In a continuous succession of sudden accelerations and abrupt stops, the Lazio transfer market continues to surprise and amaze us. The man of the hour is that of Portuguese winger Gelson Martins, who has now exited to World Cup following his nations loss to Uruguay in the Round of 16. The newspapers of Marca and Mirror, have in fact claimed that the talented winger born in 1995, has found an agreement with former Lazio player, now Atletico Madrid manager, Diego Pablo Simeone.

Lazio has presented an important offer to the player: a five-year contract of 2.5 million euros per season thanks to the help of Jorge Mendes, but if the rumors coming from Spain and England are true, it would not have been enough to convince the ex-Sporting Lisbon player to choose Rome as his next home. The hope of Claudio Lotito and Igli Tare is that there is still hope to buy the player, which has characteristics similar to those of Felipe Anderson: great speed, excellent dribbling and a good touch of the ball.
