According to the latest reports from Radiosei, with negotiations with Sassuolo with Francesco Acerbi stalling, Lazio have identified Konstantinos Laifis as a potential signing.
Laifis spent last season on loan at Standard Liege in the Belgian Pro League from Greek side Olympiakos, before completing a €1.5m move permanently on the 1st July.
The defender would likely be available for €5m and could be willing to move, despite only just finalising the permanent deal with the Belgian club.
Lazio have previously shopped in the Belgian Pro League, signing Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, Adam Marusic and Jordan Lukaku from the league in recent years – and Wesley Moraes of Club Brugge closely linked with a move this summer.
