Finally: Francesco Acerbi to Lazio looks more likely than ever. After a month of negotiations, and many offers back and forth with solely money or the addition of players, a deal of 10 million euros + 2 million euros in bonuses has been agreed upon.
After reporting earlier that the deal was likely to be unblocked, it has now been finalized by Stefano Castagna, the intermediary between the two Italian clubs: Sassuolo’s needs have been satisfied, while Lazio are happy as the initial request of 15 million was dropped.
The defender will sign a 5-year contract and make medical visits early next week – it is the newest reinforcement for Lazio, which after a long stretch of negotiating, have now closed the operation for Acerbi.
