The most important and talked about footballer currently in Rome, is that of Serbian youngster Sergej Milinkovic-Savic. According to Italian newspaper Il Messaggero, Lazio thought that they would have had more prepared and tempting proposals from European clubs, close to Lotito’s request of 150 million euros, but at the moment, there are not a lot.
In the meeting with Mateja Kezman, the agent of the Serbian International midfielder, Sporting Director Igli Tare and club President Claudio Lotito have verified the reliability of the proposals that have been put on the table, like those of Manchester United, Barcelona, and surprisingly, the likes of Chelsea and Bayern Munich. However, few of these sides proposals, if any, exceeded the 100 million euros mark.
Therefore, Real Madrid is in front of everyone for Milinkovic-Savic, but Kezman has produced little or nothing about this news, especially considering that with the Spaniards there is a direct channel with Jorge Mendes and Florentino Perez.
In addition, news emerged in the conversation that if Milinkovic-Savic were to stay because the proposals do not satisfy Lotito, the player would have to have an adjustment in salary. Lotito would be ready to satisfy Kezman’s demands and bring the salary to 2 million euros.
