West Ham improve offer for Felipe Anderson but Chelsea outbid

More twists and turns have emerged in the saga surrounding Felipe Anderson’s potential move to West Ham from Lazio.

The latest from yesterday evening was that West Ham have made a bid in the region of €31m, with an additional €5m in bonuses. This is all looked good and set for completion, before Chelsea have reportedly come knocking again for the Brazilian.

According to La Repubblica, Chelsea have made an offer of €32m, with an additional €6m in bonuses; outbidding the East London side. The deal would depend on Sarri’s potential arrival to Chelsea, with the head coach wanting to bring the Lazio star with him from Italy.
