According to reports from Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport, Lazio are interested in Kosovar-Swiss forward Xherdan Shaqiri.
Shaqiri was part of the Stoke City side that were relegated from the English Premier League in the 17/18 season; one of the team’s few saving graces in what was a very poor season for the Potters.
Shaqiri has a €15 million release clause in his contract, that was activated upon Stoke’s relegation – and a number of top clubs, including Liverpool and Manchester United, are knocking at Stoke’s door for the 26-year-old.
However, Shaqiri would likely demand €2.5 million a year in wages, which Lotito and Tare may be reluctant to pay.
