According to the latest reports from Il Tempo, with Felipe Anderson’s departure all-but official, Lazio’s search for a potential replacement has led them to Russia and CSKA Moscow star Alan Dzagoev.
Dzagoev, 28, was at one point considered to be a wonderkid, yet the versatile attacking midfielder never left Russia, and therefore his career plateaued. He has been at CSKA Moscow for 10 years now, picking up 59 caps for the Russian national team in this time.
Dzagoev’s asking price is thought to be around €15 million. However, with a contract expiring next summer, he could be available at a discount, if Lazio can negotiate well enough.
