Lazio continues to look for a substitute for Brazilian holding-midfielder Lucas Leiva. It is difficult to choose one between one Danilo Cataldi and Davide Di Gennaro, who have both been invited to pre-season training camp, but are most likely set to leave the club before the end of the transfer market either on loan, or permanently after failing to impress.

Di Gennaro was bought last season and only made 2 appearances throughout the whole year. Many fans were surprised, as youngster Alessandro Murgia got the nod ahead of him in every occasion possible. For the former Primavera player in Cataldi, after his loan at Genoa, and then Benevento, he was supposed to transfer to Sassuolo tin part of the negotiations for Acerbi. However, it did not work out, and the doors could now be open for a loan move once again to a newly promoted side in the Serie A.

According to what was collected exclusively by the editorial staff of LaLazioSiamoNoi.it, in the last few hours there have been contacts between the biancoceleste Sporting Director Igli Tare and Frosinone. The Gialloblù club are fond of the Italian 1994 born player, and the clubs are negotiating for the most appropriate formula: a loan with the possible case of redemption is a deal on the line.
