Report: Lazio look to PSV at Lozano and Pereiro as Anderson replacement

According to what was reported in the press review of Radiosei yesterday, Lazio’s hunt for their replacement for Felipe Anderson has brought them to the Netherlands; specifically, PSV Eindhoven – and to Gaston Pereiro and Hirving Lozano.

Radiosei‘s reports suggest that Igli Tare and Lazio are interested in the two players from the Eredivisie club. Felipe Anderson completed his move to Premier League club West Ham United today and now Lazio must work on signing a replacement.

Hirving Lozano, 22, is probably the more unattainable of the two, having seen his value and interest sky-rocket after scoring a fantastic winner in Mexico’s World Cup opener against 2014 champions Germany.

Gaston Pereiro, 23, has perhaps slipped under the radar of a lot of clubs, having lived mainly in the shadow of Lozano’s fantastic performances. The Uruguayan midfielder scored 11 and assisted 4 in 28 games (including seven substitute appearances).

Either player would be a fantastic coup for the Biancoceleste, yet a number of other names exist on Tare’s radar; Papu Gomez and Rony Lopes included.
