As Lazio have started work in Auronzo di Cadore, some players are still waiting to know where they will be loaned off to, and 25-year-old Brayan Perea is one of them.
As reported by Salernogranata.it, after being left out of Lazio’s first team last season, and after loan spells at Perugia, Troyes and CD Lugo, failing to impress the Serie A club, the Colombian center-forward is ready to restart his career in Serie B with Salernitana, a club Lotito is a part owner of. He will join the team at the training camp in the coming days, along with Federico Marchesi, the recent 1999 youth player acquisition, who signed for Lazio’s Primavera from AC Milan’s Primavera a year ago.
Perea joined Lazio back in 2013 on a 5-year deal from Deportivo Cali in the hopes of a goal-scoring attacker, which was much needed. However, it never ended up working out for the Colombian. He has played just 24 matches since joining the squad contributing only 1 goal in this period, and with a contract expiring this upcoming summer, many believe this will be Perea’s last time with the biancocelesti.
