Parolo: “We want to improve on the results from last season, the new Laziali have rhythm and desire”

The fourth day of the retreat in Auronzo di Cadore for Simone Inzaghi’s Lazio is almost over – a match against Auronzo remains at 12:00 EST. TG3 Lazio were able to ask Marco Parolo (one of the leaders in the locker room, as well as vice-captain of the biancocelesti) a few questions before this.

On next season: “Expectations for next season? We want to continue what we had done in these past 2 years with the same mentality and with the same desire, taking the field to win every game we play in. We want to start and give more and more.”

On Champions League: “The Champions? We want to repeat our season and then in March/April we will draw conclusions and see where we are in the standings. We can not make mistakes, we must take a cue from what has happened in these past two years.”

On the transfer market: “New acquisitions? We work with those we have. The new footballers have entered well, they have rhythm and desire. Even those who come from outside Italy, we want to make them feel at ease right away.”

On the Lazio-Roma front: “Derby? We want to win the derby, there is a lot of desire but there is still time, right now we enjoy Auronzo.”
