Daniele Baselli (Torino —> Lazio)
Daniele Baselli has been linked again to Lazio. Reports have it that Torino are looking for €25 million for the Italian midfielder. Roma and Milan also remain to have their eyes on the young Italian. Baselli has been linked with Lazio for quite some time now, dating back to the winter transfer market. It remains to be seen if Lotito will actually put his money to his mouth is and splash the €20-€25 million on the Italian International. The 25-year-old appeared in 34 games last season for Il Toro.
Wesley Moraes (Club Brugge —> Lazio)
Wesley Moraes another name that has appeared on Lazio radars, appears to be getting closer to the final stages to signing for the club. According to CalcioMercato and CittaCeleste, Moraes is very close to becoming a biancocelesti and it should happen within the next few days. It was revealed that both clubs have finally come to an agreement for the striker. Reports have it that Moraes will be meeting up with his new squad at Lazio’s pre season training camp in Auronzo. Moraes had 19 goals in 69 appearances for the Belgium club. Not the greatest signing in my opinion.
Pedro (Chelsea — > Lazio)
A new name that has appeared to be rumoured for the first time is winger and Spanish international Pedro. Pedro is on his last year of his contract with Chelsea and reports have it that Pedro can be available for a transfer fee around 25-30 million euros. The only problem is that Pedro is earning 3 million a year at Chelsea and his hefty wages could pose a small problem for Lazio. According to LaRepubblica.it the engagements for the Spaniard could be within reach, but I personally feel it’s a far-fetched rumour.
Simy (Crotone — > Lazio)
Simy is another new name that has surfaced the news recently. The Crotone forward is looking for a new journey after his club was relegated to Serie B. Simy would be the vice-forward for Ciro Immobile, but will have some competition as Lazio look to bring in Club Brugge striker Wesley Moraes. With Moraes to be official in the coming days, I don’t see Tare and Lotito spending the reported 10 million euros on the Nigerian striker. If he is brought in, my, it looks like Felipe Caicedo’s time at Lazio will be short-lived after a poor first season at the club to most fans.
There have been a lot of rumours surfing the net within the last few days since the departure of Felipe Anderson. Who is “Mister X” that Tare and Lotito will try to bring in to replace Anderson?
