Inzaghi continues to raise pace in training, exaggerating every movement tactically and psychologically

Leaders are essential in the team trainings and scrimmages, and Brazilian midfielder Lucas Leiva is one of them: a beacon to grow and push forward the youth in terms of the winning mentality. Leiva plays with serenity and it is no coincidence that when he has the ball in his feet, Inzaghi hardly worries. However, if the Brazilian is the lighthouse of midfield, new signing Francesco Acerbi is the reference in defense. He is recreating a solid backbone after the departure of Dutchman Stefan de Vrij (who left for Inter this summer on a free transfer).

In Auronzo, a double session also occurred yesterday. In the morning the assistant coach Farris had tried on multiple occasions, defensive schemes simulating situations of attacks both from a long throw and from the center of the pitch. In the afternoon it was the turn of the offensive phase.

He repeatedly tried the 3-5-2, especially different external midfielders whipping in crosses: one of the two wing-backs would cross towards the opposite side of the goal.

Finally, Luis Alberto was also seen in the field. The new number 10 has hardly ever forced when on the ball, but began to touch it finally. He did not take part in the scrimmage session but in the final part of the training, he practiced dribbling and shooting.
