Despite rumoured interest by Lazio, Milan and Everton, Alex Iwobi is on the verge of signing a new and improved Arsenal deal that will link him to the club until 2022. His previous deal that was signed in 2015 ran until 2020. New Arsenal boss Unai Emery sees Iwobi as an important piece moving forward to try to improve a Gunners team who have underwhelmed in recent seasons under Arsene Wenger.
