Having the same president can facilitate things when getting deals done, which is the case when it comes to Lazio and Serie B side Salernitana. After Lazio finalized a deal for Mattia Sprocati early in the transfer market, two new names have emerged as possible candidates.
The first player is Dutch defender Djavan Anderson, who played last season for Bari scoring 2 goals in 19 appearances for the club. The 23-year-old player can play at right-back, centre-back or even in a defensive midfield role. After AS Bari declared bankruptcy, Anderson became a free agent and is currently looking for a club. Igli tare has been working hard to bring him to Lazio for Simone Inzaghi to decide if he could stay with the capital club or be loaned out to Salernitana in order to get more playing time and opportunities. Club president Claudio Lotito is known to send Lazio youngsters to his Serie B side until they mature enough to make the jump to Serie A, Luiz Felipe and Thomas Strakosha being the most recent examples of this.
The next name being discussed is 23-year-old Argentine central defender Tiago Casasola of Salernitana. Last season, Tiago had an eye for goal, scoring 6 goals and producing 4 assists for the Serie B side. With the Argentinian National team in 2015, the defender won the U-20 South-American cup and participated in the U-20 World Cup in New Zealand. Lotto and Tare are looking for Casasola to officially sign a contract with Lazio to then leave him one more season in Salerno so he can keep improving and growing as a player. The Lazio-Salernitana connection is as strong as ever.
