According to what has been reported by Emanuele Baiocchini of Sky Sports, Mexican club Club America have made an offer to bring Felipe Caicedo to Mexico on loan.
This comes after Lazio have signalled their intention to be rid of the Ecuadorian striker, after a not-so impressive first season in Biancoceleste colours; with some fans blaming his lack of finishing ability for Lazio missing out on a place in the UEFA Champions League.
Turkish club Bursaspor have already signalled their interest in the forward, with a number of Spanish clubs also reportedly interested. However, Lazio are only prepared to let Caicedo go if it means a permanent move, rather than just leaving on loan.
Lazio will want to offload Felipe Caicedo so that they can bring in Wesley Moraes, as both would occupy a ‘non-EU’ spot in the roster.
