Yesterday, the arrival in Auronzo di Cadore, today the first talks surrounding the market: Igli Tare is immediately at work. According to Gianluca Di Marzio, he is not taking a second to relax – he is immediately at work.
This morning, the sporting director presented himself at the Zandegiacomo where Lazio were training and pulled midfielder Danilo Cataldi aside: he was with the 1994 born midfielder – who has grown up with the club – for around 40 minutes, resulting in many thoughts about his future from reporters. An intense meeting, it was only the two of them, in the “tribune” near the field, while Simone Inzaghi continued to work on the fulll team surrounding game-play: the former Genoa and Benevento loanee did not even take part in tactical exercises. Cataldi just sat there with his arms folded, in dialogue with Tare. Cataldi is on the edge at Lazio – it is not new news: the past two years he was spent on loan, and with a midfield consisting of Milinkovic-Savic, Parolo, Lucas Leiva, Murgia, Berisha and potentially Lulic, it is easy to see why. So far, Danilo has been in the first outing of the first two friendly matches, the first in the first half before coming off as a sub (in the 20-0 victory against Auronzo), the second in the second-half, coming on as a sub (in the 14-0 win against Top 11 Radio Club 103).
After talking with Cataldi, Tare stopped young Alessandro Rossi for a few minutes to talk: the striker born in 1997 who was a protagonist of an excellent pre-season (10 goals in two matches). The two were standing, facing each other in a short dialogue. Rossi was supposed to already be with Swiss side FC Luzern – the loan transfer was all complete, but Claudio Lotito blocked the deal right at the end. Inzaghi believes in him and he trains in silence.
Both Cataldi and Rossi are unaware of their future at the club – the chat with Tare could help decipher it.
