Papu Gomez has been a man of the Serie A, especially Atalanta, for quite some time now. However, in this summer transfer market – in addition to last years – Papu has been linked with a move away from Bergamo and to the biancocelesti. There have been many rumours and negotiations about the player and Lazio, but nothing has progressed from the deal. We reported yesterday that the next 48 hours were critical for the player and it is now said that Gomez has fallen in the pecking order – Joaquin Correa is the new wanted man.

However, something random and strange happened last night – during a Sky Sports show, Papu Gomez posted a picture to Instagram: in addition to the canapes and red wine, there were Sky Sports images of the withdrawal of Lazio in the background, with which he put the caption “The pleasures of life”.
