This morning we reported that Lazio had made an offer for Sevilla’s Joaquin Correa, a former player of the Serie A with Sampdoria.
Now, according to Gianluca Di Marzio, the initial offer was favourable and the negotiation could close in the next few days.
The biancocelesti are still on the hunt to sign someone who can provide quality and reinforce the offensive department after the sale of Felipe Anderson to West Ham. Papu Gomez was Inzaghi’s first choice, but the player is turning 31 this year and Igli Tare and Claudio Lotito are said to be wanting a younger profile. Correa seems to be the man, especially due to his experience in the Italian league and his Italian citizenship.
