According to what has been reported today by CittaCeleste, Lucas Biglia, who joined AC Milan from Lazio last summer, was interested, just a few weeks ago, in a return to the Italian capital.
Leonardo Bonucci’s desire to re-join Juventus was not the only one of its kind as the reports indicate Biglia was very interested in coming back to his old club, despite being replaced by the arguably greater talent of Lucas Leiva.
CittaCeleste suggest that Simone Inzaghi was interested in having the Argentine back amongst the Biancoceleste ranks, yet that Lotito and Tare were quick to say “no”.
It appears as though the rumours of a return were linked to AC Milan’s appeal for their financial fair play ban, before it was announced that they were all cleared.
