Report: Badelj close to signing 4-year contract with Lazio – the latest

Gianluca Di Marzio and TuttoMercatoWeb have now claimed that a meeting will take place between Lazio and Milan Badelj’s agent Alessandro Lucci (also the agent of reported new signing Joaquin Correa) to define a long-term contract that will see the World Cup finalist in the biancoceleste colours.

In addition to progress on the Joaquin Correa front, in which Lazio seems to have officially signed the Argentine from Sevilla, the biancocelesti continue to work also on its midfield, and moves quickly and strongly on Milan Badelj who was released from Fiorentina after his contract expired. He was strongly wanted by Zenit and entered Milans orbit in recent weeks, however the midfielder could now wear the shirt of Lazio, with the parties becoming closer and closer to reaching an agreement.

UPDATE: In the last hours the parties have worked positively to close the negotiation, and the Croatian midfielder, assisted by Alessandro Lucci, is now ready to sign a 4-year contract that will tie him to the biancocelesti.
