The Lazio Primavera is starting to take shape ahead of the 2018/19 season. In the next few hours, Argentine attacker Joaquín Pérez Ibáñez from River Plate is expected to arrive in the capital; meanwhile, the youth sector has also acquired Polish midfielder Szymon Czyz for a transfer that was already finalized at the end of March, despite competition from Red Bull Leipzig and Polish club Zaglebie Lubin: the now 17-year old has penned a three-year contract with Lazio.

Czyz was born in 2001 and grew up in the youth system of Arka Gdynia – his hometown team – before moving to Lech Poznan in 2015. Last season, he played 9 games and scored 2 goals with the Under 19 squad as an attacking midfielder. In March, after having already scored against San Marino in October, he also played the qualifications for the European Championships with the Poland Under 17 squad.
