Speaking to ESPN today, Juventus’ Bosnian midfielder Miralem Pjanic, confirmed his desire to stay at Juventus. This, therefore, means that Sergej Milinkovic-Savic will not be joining Juventus.
Pjanic said: “I hear many things that are not true. I’m fine here , I’m getting ready for the new season and it’s the most important thing. What I did in the last two seasons at Juventus was great and I’m happy. I do not give importance to what they are writing, I have seen and read so many things that are not true.”
The sale of Pjanic was directly linked with Juve’s potential purchase of the 23-year-old Serbian. The other clubs still in the race appear to be Chelsea and Real Madrid, yet, with every day that passes, it appears increasingly likely that Milinkovic-Savic will remain at Lazio.
