There have been many rumblings about the future of Brazilian centre-midfielder Ramires in the last few hours. It is being reported that Ramires wants a return to european football at all costs, with Lazio being his preferred destination. Currently back in his hometown of Joinville in Brazil, away from his current Chinese club Jiangsu Suning, the ex-Chelsea player is working out and staying in shape while Jiangsu is starting their second half of the season. Jiangsu Suning are currently contemplating what to do with the player, as rumours have also emerged of AC Milan and Inter Milan interest, the latter also being owned by Suning. When it comes to Milan, Suning would rather not send the player to Inter’s arch rivals. As for Inter, the player himself rejected the idea of joining the team a few days ago, as it is important for the him to get quality playing time when choosing his next destination. This leaves Lazio as the only realistic possibility at the moment and we should have a better idea in the coming days as to where Ramires will pursue his career.
