The president of Lazio, Claudio Lotito spoke to RMC Sport about the future of Sergej Milinkovic-Savic stating, “I have never put the player up for sale. If substantial offers do arrive, we will re-evaluate the situation in due time. In the interest of Lazio, I never perceived a payment for the player, unlike many of my colleagues would have.”
After arriving for his Lazio medicals this morning, Sergej signed autographs and took pictures with fans. He stated, “Am I staying? Of course , I’m here…”. At the moment, all signs point to another season of dominating midfield play by the Serb in Lazio colours, although interest in the player still remains high when it comes to many European giants including Chelsea, Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Juventus. With that being said, we should expect the media to continue their obsession in reporting unconfirmed rumours about Milinkovic-Savic all season long.
